Been meaning to go along with the new toy, but have not been sure if any other people would be attempting at this time of year.

With that being said i have seen on the Fennel V8 Breakfast facebook page that people have been coming out. Would be good to use this thread for other pistonheads members to let others know they will be attending on a Sunday !

Would be good to finally meet some fellow petrolheads biggrin !

Cheers

Mike

Busier in the summer months, or nice dry days like yesterday.

Although an excuse for a run, hope you are settling in with the car.

Managed to get out later in the day, but heard it was a pretty good turnout there yesterday with the dry weather. Settling in just fine with it so far and to be honest probably driving it too much right now, but its hard not to want to take it out haha !

It's worth going for the "Full Scottish" on it's own. I don't think I've been on a Sunday and not seen a nice set of wheels on the street.

Worth going along for the food - anything interesting in the car park is just a bonus.

As the weather gets better you'll be unlucky not to bump into some owners or piston headers. And usually a good mix of stuff from classics to moderns to bikes.

Totally agree with you guys there, the food is great and the staff are always brilliant (esp with the kids) thats why we go quite regular throught the week - think the wife like to lunch there a little to much lol !

Next time anyone's thinking of going it would be good to know, maybe use this thread to drop a line on and let other people know your going to make it wink !

I'm going to pop along this Sunday, but wont be until 11:30ish... Anyone else going ?

Possibly, weather dependent, might take a run up this Sunday to blow the cobwebs off.

Who's B5 RS was it? I'll probably know them if they are on Audisrs. We also have a register of B5 RS4's in Scotland, so would be nice to add your friend if he isn't already on it.

Would love to come out for a blast, but i'm working all weekend. Try to keep the rs away from the salt and sh#tty roads over winter. Breaks my heart seeing it sitting in the garage on trickle charge.
Probably next time out will be run with Baz or Knockhill the day before. I was winding you up about deleting the name off the list... i saw that you had quoted. I quite often wind people up.... sometimes they bite, give me abuse or usually just ignore me. I'll come up and say hi at the run.
Kenny.

I see the pics of this on Facebook from time to time, most of which are of straight-6 TVRs or V10 Lambos. Would I be the odd one out turning up in a Jag with an actual V8 engine?

I think I'll head to the Fennel for breakfast tomorrow, as SWMBO is away for the day. Caterham still off the road so Shogun will have to do.
