I agree about the Maserati Club but actually I'm going with the crowd from sportsmaserati who are altogether more down to Earth.
Check it out on their homepage. I think there are 5 cars from Scotland and the costs are much more reasonable. Most run 3200 or 4200 but there are also Gransports,Stradales, Biturbos and even a Bora heading over.
We plan to meet the French and Dutch clubs once through the tunnel which should gather around 80 cars together for the run to Italy.
Worth a look as of course,it's not the Centenary every year!

Might do. I found the unofficial clubs much better than the main one. I drove to Goodwood to met them, just 450 miles one way and they wouldn't even let me park beside the other club cars! Their support for my Italian car and bike day was pitiful and most came from sports Maserati etc. I therefore cancelled my membership as I had zero value from it. Check it out on their homepage. PVT me and let me know what you have planned. What I would not want to do is drive 1700 miles one way and find we are being shunned by the factory and official clubs and told to go and park in fields 1 mile away!

My dad used to own a green bora with a stainless steel roof back in the late 70's very early 80's. Sold it to buy his Khamsin. Stunning cars and I can remember grinning from ear to ear as a kid, everytime he floored it.kmm said:

I used to see a dark blue Khamsin parked at Aberdeen train station in the 80s. Was stunning.Allandwf said:

Any idea of a reg number; exact colour; interior colour or if Series 1 or 2? Series 1 no grill salts and Series 2 did We are trying to trace the 5-6 Khamsins that used to be up here. There is a dark blue one in Newton Mearns. Not sure how long the owner has had it or if he lived up there. I will ask him though.There is an international K registry and I try and pass on info on Scottish cars for that
