Hi all, can anyone recommend a garage in Glasgow which my o/h can take her car to? It has a "noise" from the front wheels and she has to drive 200 miles this weekend and I would rather she had a trustworthy garage to cast their eye over the car than let her drive and the wheel fall off!

James is a good guy to deal with, done quite a bit of work on my Volvo in the past.

A proper back-street garage, but a good done smile

Ramsays Garage
661-667 Dumbarton Rd, Clydebank G81 4HD
0141 952 0408

Just at the petrol station in dalmuir.

Honest guy and won't rip you off. Can have a repair done by the end of the day if you take the car in early. Cheap too.

I dont know where in Glasgow you are but GF Autos in Muirhead are very good. Run buy a guy called Gordon who looks after my old Boxster. Very trustworthy.

Hmmm, interesting - do they do bodywork and painting?

I need to get my MX5 on the road this year and need it welded, sticking point has always been getting an un-MOT'd (until it's welded, catch 22!) car to a garage for the work but he's 2 minutes from me in Stepps.
