Expert knock finder/ plate shaky place

Sorry guys, the proper name for this equipment has completely escaped me. I'm looking for one of these places that can find elusive rattles and knocks by having the car parked on top of these pads that wobble so that a mechanic can pinpoint a knock.


I have a knock from the front suspension of my legacy GTB, and its driving me nuts. Two independent mechanics have already had an inspection and state the bushes are all tip top.

Anyone know what the proper name is, and is there one in the central belt?

I think most modern MOT places have these, as it allows single man testing.
