May want to speak to Jim McAuley in Wishaw, ex mechanic of Glenvarigal/ Glen henderson Porsche about the 928 n what can be done for them. I am not sure that you would get much benefit on a normally aspirated engine ,possibly 5-8%? As a general rile with these old cars, I wouldn't fiddle with the electrics or ECU.
He knows these cars well and works on quite a few

You'll get the best results from an x pipe and a shark tune for not too much money if you are so inclined.

I got my X pipe from Meerkat in Ayshire and google John Speak ( I think it's JDSPorsche.co.uk or something) to get a tune. He doesn't travel now, so you have to go to him, but he knows how to get the best out of one of these.
