I had to google it as I haven't heard of it until now - nice looking car although I prefer the look of the R8 which I would imagine is a hell of a lot cheaper lol

As for whether there's one in Glasgow - no idea but I'm sure I won't miss it if it passes!

With a planned production run of 918 units, there is quite a realistic chance of one eventually finding it's way to Scotland.

However, production only just started, so if one was spotted, chances are it was just up to enjoy the Highlands. (Demo, photo shoot, just for fun?)

I think it would be very easy to mistake a Carrera GT for 918. For this type of vehicle there are a lot of Carrera GT's running around and you really need to be a bit of a petrol head to tell them apart. The Boxster on the other hand has completely different proportions.

There are 2 918's due in Scotland from what I know, I wouldn't say there's that many Carrera GT's kicking about either

There were 1270 Carrera GTs built, half of them for the USA. Not much different to 918 numbers really.

I saw one of these years and years ago on the M8 - I remember not having a clue what it was at the time!
