Goodwood FOS 2014

Is there anyone heading down for this? I was thinking of going down and staying with friends in the London area but going to the event only for the Sunday and head back Sunday night or Monday.

I am happy to share driving with someone if these plans fit, I am insured Fully comp for any car, or possibly to use my own ( VW Passat sorry,) if someone is similarly insured. I have problems with my knees just now and cant drive long distances now without very frequent stops, hence this post.

paul, first idea take your email and phone nunber out of there and use the PM links at the side. a bit cyber safer so to speak.. if these things bother you.

I am heading down for the four days with my eldest lad, was going to take the elise but i can only imagine it will be very painful for the 550 miles each way and wont be able to carry everything we need/want etc. so going to take the Kombi. If you get a method of getting down i could easy take you back up on the Sunday night? a sort of answer... will pm you my email and leave a numebr as a fail safe should your knees pack in!

Hate driving long distance. I'm taking the sleeper train. Wake up in London at 7am rested, fed and watered to be collected by enterprise hire car.

Hi thanks for that. I have had the same mobile for 25 years and the number is in lots of places, likewise my email. No secret on either , but I appreciate your concern.

I am flying down at 6:20 on Friday morning and attending on the Fri and Sat.

Got a hire car booked for at Gatwick and a hotel booked north of the event. I have never been before and am really looking forward to it.

I will probably drive down on Thursday night but staying with friends in Hemel Hempstead and back on Monday at some point again leaving from Hemel. We should be driving to goodwood early sunday and back sunday evening.
