I think an EP3 would suit my needs quite well - something interesting that I wouldn't be too worried about not having off-street parking with.

Have you driven one? Engine wise, I know what to expect from a VTEC, having had a Prelude 2.2 VTEC and Civic VT running a tweaked B16a, however it's the comments about the steering that most concern me about the EP3.

Dont be put off by hearsay.

yes the steering columns develop issues but a well looked after one and the right care from you it will be fine.

I sold mine last year with ~40000 and my mechanic told me it was the tightest example he had driven, a complement from Andy @ Automek, trust me.

Wish I'd never had to sell, GOD DAMN CHILDREN why cant they stomach some stiffer dampeners!

I will have another EP3 in the future, just so much fun.

The steering is awfy light. My old dear had one of the same model 1.6SEs from new and the steering felt like you were using a remote control from a building half a mile away.

Not sure if the tippers are just as bad?
