Any jobs going?
Discussion
Soooooooo....
Had a job "offer", well... the words were "I'm sure we have a use for you here" in turn, my references were checked and was given an induction date and the date of my first shift. (All verbally, which is my downfall).
Had all that confirmed over the phone, I had my start date so handed in my notice to my current job.
On Friday I got a phone-call, and as an "update to my employment" I would no longer be attending the induction (tomorrow!) and no employment would be offered. This was because they had "found someone with more relevant experience" and there was no more spaces on the induction.
I handed in my notice, and had even started training my replacement! (talk about shooting yourself in the foot)
So anyone want to give me a job?
I have some sort of university qualification in engineering... maybe
I can run a coffee shop... Make that two.
I sometimes train staff. I call them my minions.
I'm familiar with a hammer
And electronics (Not at the same time)
I can do some basic and (sort of) advanced CAD, solidworks and pro-engineer
My qualifications say I'm good with numbers (may, or may not true)
Dear mods, Moving the thread to "Jobs & Employment Matters" is as useful as pouring boiling tea into a chocolate teapot.

Can i have a job to??
Don't like my current one but my dilema is,
i'm paid okish money and i sadly don't have a degree so i'm a bit stuffed.
I can find jobs i'd be good at but too much a drop in pay but don't have a degree so i can't seem to get
a better job.
I can manage people and can be friendly!
Did get offered a job in a skatepark but couldn't afford the 10k drop in pay!
