I have managed to scrape the rear of the mirror housing on My Hyundai ix35 by being a pig-stubborn guy and trying to reverse as close as I could to a fence..... and not realizing that the fence had a nail sticking out of it......

Car is white so I am thinking this could be a straight forward job for one of these mobile type guys - would I be right and if so, anyone recommend someone who could come to my office in Glasgow City Centre to repair?

Cheers

Just recently noticed one of those "Chips Away" places has opened on Scotland St at the lights at Carnoustie Pl, dunno what they're like tho?

mmm that's interesting, that's where I come off the M74 every day, must take a wee nosey about it.

You can take them off and post them to these guys:

They have a set price of £45 (+vat and p+p) for a pair of wing mirrors IIRC

cheers but wouldn't want to start dismantling mirrors and leaving internals exposed etc.

I'd always seek out someone who has experience of their trade rather than using the new kid on the block - just saying wink
