Does anyone have any experience of having a garden shed built for them in Aberdeenshire.
I can find plenty of places that sell them, and some who make, but nobody who will make
to measure, even after claiming they do!

Thanks in advance

I had a proverbial brick out-house of a shed built to measure by Benchmark in Castlepark Ind. Estate in Ellon. Benchmark is run for adults with learning disabilities, but the work they do is really good and also fairly priced. It's very sturdy, dry and warm with a double skinned floor and good beefy timber sections everywhere. It's the opposite of the usual flimsy things bought 'off the shelf'.

My shed was also modular so I dismantled it fairly easily and took it with me when I moved house.

Thanks James, that sounds like the sort of thing I'm looking for.

If not try Midmar timber centre who build sheds to your specifications, I have a 5 x 8 shed that they built last year for myself and the owner gave me a shot of his trailer to take it back home to fire it up. I am very impressed with the quality the only difficulty was lifting the roof on lol...it was a heavy brute

Another +1 for Jim at Midmar Timber Centre. I get a lot of timber from him, and he always bends over backwards to help.
