Headed up to Braehead Shopping Centre for the Clan game today, but decided to go early to shop first. I left the M8 on the eastbound slip road at around 3.30 pm, and it took me 45 minutes from there to get parked. It this normal for a Saturday into Braehead? If so, either road planning or whoever sets up the traffic lights sequence needs their arse kicked.

It's always like this the closer you get to Christmas especially if the weather is bad, it's the same at Silverburn. I'd try and stick to internet shopping till January or if you're really posh have your butler do it!

I saw the traffic on the motorway backed up before the Braehead on Saturday afternoon. Brutal!

Its always like that. I was there today, twice.

I cut through Renfrew but even that is traffic filled.

Yep, Christmas is definitely coming. J10 on the M8 is another one where you need to be really careful, especially westbound. Since Glasgow Fort was built, the traffic regularly queues back from the traffic lights at the top of the slip westbound & the mid-slip roundabout eastbound back onto lane 1 of the motorway. With the Fort being open late, this often happens in the evening rush hour on weekdays in November & December.

From previous experience, I've only missed 2 home games since 2010, the traffic is dreadful from now until mid January.
