Trim repair

Plastic side piece on seat has cracked/split

Glue did not work or resin

Any one know of a way of repairing?

I would say a soldering iron to melt the plastic together. But be left with the repair line.

Just an option if were to do that then could remove and smooth it up with sealer or something and in Airdrie there's the fibreglass place that could scan it and make an replacement. Then just have to paint to match the colour.

We get some rare trim stuff for the cortinas can no longer get remade in fibreglass
