Numerous traffic light controlled roadworks. So not currently viable as an alt to the A82 to Crianlarich. For anyone going Killin then north side of Loch Tay there is a few miles of very loose chippings near Kenmore.

I came up this way yesterday. Overnight at a lesser known bothy. Home journey will be via A9.

Very nice, did you hear or see any Curlews up there?

No curlews. One deer, a few sheep, and some small birds. Don't ask me what they were.
