This seems to be police Scotland upping their game

No road markings & works 24hrs (without a flash,) we’ll probably have some shift workers at night losing their licenses before they realise what’s happening.
(Yes I know they need to be speeding for that to happen)

Would be interesting to see the accident stats - as if they are as related to speed as we're led to believe, then that bit of road should be absolute carnage.

If that many folk are speeding, that would infer the limit is too low and 50 is more realistic there

Satellite image, it s not always that empty but slip roads on & off Dual Carriageway.

They catch a lot if folk speeding on the kings way as when it s flowing well it s flowing well!

I've always suspected the drop from 50 to 40 Eastbound is to catch folk out - same as it used to be when you turned North onto the Forfar Rd, went from 50 to 40 right after the junction on a downhill section
