Laurencekirk Grampian MG Centre

Does anyone know what happened to the Grampian Mg Centre, which was in Laurencekirk in the 80s 90s?
I remember taking my Corvette there when the owner was thinking about buying one, and slso bought a BGT from there.

At that timescale the owner is at least retired or passed away.

It may still be there just under a different name/brand as that version of MG no longer exists since Rover went bust.

Yes, i realise that, im just wondering when it would have closed, and if anyone had memories of it.

I don't know about that.

The Austin dealer in the 1970s at Kirriemuir stayed in the trade and is still around now, albeit pushing 80.

And not in Kirrie or doing Austin either


Isn't John Clark (the individual) still active as well?
