T'would be brilliant to have that track up and running again . . . perhaps they need some technologiste help with their website . . . which can duly be provided . . .Fd
Well - they need something! The membership form download doesn't work either....It would be good to see it back - it could be a bit like a 'Goodwood of the North'...

It is a great pity about the date they have chosen, as it is the same weekend as a Guyson Scottish Hillclimb Championship counter at Fintray House...
Surely the organisers will be looking for a more Historic entry rather than one more usually seen at a Scottish Hillclimb Championship round. After all the true Historics are very thin on the ground in the championship!I am already making plans to be there and might even try to get an entry!

Does not bode well - I tried to email the 'enquiries' address on the Bo'ness website, and got 'User unknown' failure messages....
Works fine for me - ever thought that there could some problem with your email .............?Don't forget Steve - we have 2 geographically separate PCs and email accounts (200 miles apart and one cable one not), so if it doesn't work on either then I think it's fair to assume the problem might just be at the other end ...

It is not just about competitors - what about marshals, etc? Two double headers on the same weekend is likely to but a drain on the same set of resources. Also, some of the people competing at Fintray would otherwise turn out to spectate at Bo'ness.
The Revival is a great idea - what is plain daft is choosing a weekend that conflicts with another hillclimb weekend on the Scottish calendar, when there are other dates that they could use that would not have the same complication. Whatever happened to the MSA notion that proposed dates should go through regional associations, I wonder? The clubs organising speed events in Scotland do consult and agree their dates to try and avoid conflict on the calendar - some discussion would be constructive and help to make the revival meeting the best event it can be, don't you agree?

How many regional associations are there is Scotland?
I know that in the North of England there is no such clearance sought to run a meeting and as far as I am aware it is only a recommendation from the MSA.

As you quiet rightly say I only venture North to Doune for hillclimbs however next year I might be popping up North more regularly!
You might even be lucky and get entries to those events too . . . although I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you . . .Fd
