2008 Knockhill Track events

After some extended negotiations I've managed to secure the following dates at Knockhill for our track events in 2008. Please mark them in your diary

Saturday 15th March, 9am to 1pm

Saturday 17th May, 9am to 1pm

Saturday 28th June, 9am to 1pm

Saturday 30th August, 9am to 1pm

We also plan to have one around October again, but the dates can't be confirmed just yet.

Bad news is that track hire costs have increased by about 10% again (mostly due to increased insurance), but there's nothing we can do about this.

Hopefully these avoid clashing with most of the Scottish Hillclimb/Sprint calendar.

PS I've also got Grampian Transport Museum booked for Sunday 13th July.

Admittedly not 2008 i know...

But if i remember correctly, i think there is a trackday on at knockhill tomorrow (24th Nov) 12-4 ?

I was hoping (fingers crossed i can get away ) to pop along and take some photo's - i need the panning practice

As its not a knockhill organised event i just wanted to check if that would be ok ?

Aye, it's one of John's SIDC days and you'll be most welcome.

I was going to be there myself (on track) but I had to call off.

No problems at all about coming along to take photos - I'm hoping to do some of that myself You can even sign up for passenger laps if you want at no cost. Just speak nicely to some of the drivers and I am sure they will take you out.
