We are looking for someplace to spend a week in february while a new kitchen is being fitted, my preference would be the Moray Firth, nicer climate than most of Scotland and good beaches to walk the dogs. That is where the problem may be, we have two dogs that will be coming with us.

Anyone have a holiday home on the Moary Firth know somebody with one, or know of a place to let in Feb ?

Any leads (pun intended) would be appreciated

An alternative might be the Aviemore area. The place Steph and I took a few months ago was great. Google for "great north lodges".

I think I've still got details of those cottages near Boyndie I spotted a while ago. I'll have a look.

Can Meg come an visit?

Happy new year min!

I stayed near Coylumbridge by Avimore in a fab self-catering place with my Great Dane and a GSD. It was a fabulous place to be for all 3 of us.

Couldn't find it but I think it was this one.

When I was looking for somewhere, I found the tourist board website really helpful. You can specify what you need (dog friendly, spare room for Kilties etc.) and it filters really well.

If it was after feb I might have been able to help you but I have someone staying in mine at the moment. (website on profile). A friend of mine also has a few holiday homes just along the road from me. http://www.blackpark.co.uk/ Not sure about animals but can easily give them a call.

I am also listed with this lot http://www.mackays-self-catering.co.uk/ loads to choose from on there.

Hope this helps.
