I'm meeting my fella, who now lives in S.Wales, in Abingdon. It's almost half way for us.

Can anyone suggest activities for the weekend please?

Thanks smile

I presume you mean Abington? If so its not an unpleasant part of the world - lots of good roads to drive, a few nice wee villages to wander round....try lunch at the Cornhill house hotel near coulter then drive through biggar, then turn right to Skirling and then follow the road to Biggar - great drive and great views....

New Lanark Mill, I stayed at the New Lanark Hotel a year or two back but didn't get a chance to look around the old mill that it is part of, it looked quite interesting.
