does anyone know of a specialist in Prestwick? Am looking to have some central pipes made up for an old car

na dont, their work was st hot but it just all went down hill and theyre really quite terrible now.

personally i know its a bit out of the way but try simonscustomexhausts.co.uk hes in east kilbride, the guys the st he gives a shot at just about anything! and hes cheap and the stuff is top quality

Thanks for the posts and shame all good staff left guy in prestwick. Went to see Simon in East kilbride which is closer for me and he will start job on Saturday. so will see how he gets on!

Paul, do let us know how the exhaust turns out, as I may have to get a set of larger diam headers made up and would be very keen to find someone so close who can make good quality stuff but also understands what is needed in performance systems.

simon is quite st hot, he knows his stuff, he used to work as part of motorsport world (in strathaven) if you know him and branched out into his own business please, let us know how he gets on!

Well as promised am replying to the thread. Went to see Simon i East Kilbride and had the botched central pipes repaired. He was very pleasant and seemed to know what he was about. did the job and have car back. Havent been able to get under car to examine, but so far seems good. Car runs better and doesnt smell of fumes! Price was reasonable £220 for repairing and replacing bits of central pipes.
Once get a chance to get car on ramps will have a closer look.
