I've got myself a second hand boxster and it's got a wee problem that I'd like looked at.

I have a mate who owns a small garage businees and I have put my [simple] cars to him in the past and trust him completely but he doesn't have the Porsche diagnostic equipment which I think it needs.

Is there an indy other than BavariaAutoWerk who deals with Porsche?

Firstdrive in Fetteresso near Stonehaven! www.firstdrivecars.co.uk (They have twice had my Boxster 'S' in for servicing and MOT) and I am very impressed by them. The owner Paul who owns a 996 seems to be a total petrolhead, he has owned various Porsches in the past and is knowledgeable and helpful.

Rates are reasonable, I doubt you will get better value for money anywhere else.

Hope this helps,

Graham

PS I have no connection with the above firm apart form being a happy customer.

Paul is a mate of mine and I can confirm he is an utter Porsche nut, as is Chris one of the mechanics.
He is also an irritatingly good mountain biker.

Will bear these guys in mind now that I have left the //M fraternity.

Mind you, my allegiance still lies with JD Motors of The Peoples Republic of Insch. I gather Dave knows his way around a Porker too.
