A pal of mine is playing in the Scottish amateur golf championship this weekend. I looked on-line to see how he was doing and noticed this.

Is it the same fella? (i.e. Knockhill lap record).

Surely not.

Cheers,

yes

Nathan was in my year at school. He certainly wasn't Ozzy.

I think it's country of residence as opposed to nationality and that's what made me wonder (if he'd moved down under).

No, it's not the same fella though, I'm convinced of that.

I did immediately think of Nigel Mansell though. IIRC, he swung a club good enough to have been a contender.

That makes no sense whatsoever but I can't be arsed editing it.

How's your Pal doing ?

I was out for a couple of hrs today, some good rounds in a tough wind.

David Law looked great for the 1st few holes but I see he struggled after that.

He shot a 75 on Friday and was delighted (Murcar is his home course).

I then went straight to the bookies and put a double on with Susan Boyle. rolleyes

On Saturday, he stuggled with the wind and only made 80; so missing the cut. frown

I've spoken to his caddy but it didn't feel right to call him last night as I guess he'll have been a wee bit down.

I'll see him tomorrow and get the whole story.

I can't believe -16 won in that wind (I bet your Pal can't either !)
Nice to be good enough to play in that esp on your home course though.
