Anyone else read this yesterday?

http://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/Article.aspx/1243...

It's my daily commute. I've no problem with them being used sensibly at road works etc, but what's the bet they'll end up being trialled on the long straights at Tullo which can be the only bit of road many will overtake lorries / busses etc?

David Keys, 59, who lives right next to the road four miles north of Oldmeldrum, at Playgreen Croft, is backing his campaign.

He had to have surgery on his shoulder after a car drove into the back of his vehicle when he was waiting to turn into his drive.
How will an average speed camera stop folk from running in to you when you are stationary on an A class road?

All average speed cameras do is frustrate drivers as they can't pass for fear of breaking the limit.

More people will be watching their speedo rather than the road.
