Hi all

Unfortunately I have run out of time to get my towing licence organised before the next CSL Cup race in on 4th and 5th July at Donnington. I have the van, trailer etc but am stuck for someone to tow and I'd be taking a big (uninsured) risk to tow without my licence in place. My mate who would normally have stepped in is moving house that weekend. Any ideas/ suggestions?

If you can find someone with the B+E entitlement get them to sit next to you and stick on some L plates. This is legal, providing they've had it for over 3 years.

I am booked in for my B+E test on the 26th of this month, no guarantee I'll pass it though!

Not good - are you going for a retest? Did you have much towing experience beforehand?
