That's tomorrow so I thought I would mention it on here.
Full grid of 32 classic sports and saloons including my speciality subject mk1 escorts of which there are 5 including a spanking Zacspeed BDG replica and 2 Alan Mann replicars. The TR8 squandron are out in force with a new mystery car for Willie Toye reputed to be faster than a speeding bullet. Whole host of pre 1984 cars on show, all we need is the weather to make it a great day out.

I'm also going. Hopefully the weather will play along, although it said it might be raining a little this afternoon. Should be some nice motors around like the last couple of years. smile

Some nice cars in the Classic display, including a lovely Daimler Dart, and a couple of Mk1 Lotus Cortina's.
Enjoyed the Jimmy Stewart races, terrific variety and a full grid. Racing as it should be, although I was dissapointed to see Olly Ross's Europa breakdown again on the rolling lap of the second race.

Olly suffered ignition problems as did I in the first race. Ian Longford kindly donated his entire lumenition system to get me running and although the car was retimed using a snap on timing light it was slightly out and I was overheating and came in on lap 3.
Shame not to have time to see all the lovely cars on display so thanks for the pics.

Yup great racing, uncharacteristic mistake from Kenny Allan in the second race, but that saw him climbing back from last, good stuff and Harry Simpson in the little imp was giving it laldy with much bigger engined opposition, like I say, great fun!

Harry's Imp got neatly overtaken by Nic Boyes in his '68 Mini Cooper S at the hairpin in the second race tongue out

-although there is now an imp shaped dent in the rear on the Mini!
-and a nice set of black rings down the near side from the Alfa-Sud after Nic's successful last lap overtake frown

Oh, and Nic's Mini also took the trophy for the 2nd best Mini in the concours smile

This was my first Classic Speedfair - really impressed by all the cars on display, they were all prepared to a high standard and the racing was pretty good too.

Formula Fords aren't my cup of tea but the racing they put on yesterday has made me reconsider. Maybe due to more numbers = more competition.

I was there, got a spare tickets from a guy I know through the Alfa forum that races a white GTV.
Good day with plenty nice cars.
Saw the Vette looking good, but the Merak was my fave car of the day!
