My Winning Stand @ Scottish Modified 2009

Hi there people. Not a lot of you know me and probably even less know the forum that i run.

I organised an indoor stand at the Scottish Modified Show 2009 which was held yesterday at The Royal Highland Center, Ingliston.

We won Best Indoor Stand (where all the good cars go ) which i was over the moon with considering it was my first time organising a stand and our first outing to a show.

Yeah thars Eliot's Henson, was chatting to him about the show. Had the Monaro outside in the Vauxhall area

Yo fraser, good to see you on here. Yeh got the sandrail through an MOT today. No problems at all with it although i do need the carbs set up properly as its spitting flames on idle and popping away. Show was really good with some pretty nice cars there amongst all the tat. A 206 got best of show prize and some other junk cars won stuff too. A well deserved win for the stand after the effort you put into the posters and car plaques etc. Think next year you should just reserve half the indoor hall and fill it with good cars.

Already getting on with organising a 20-30 car stand, with gazebos, flat screen tv's and MEGA cars again.

just an idea guys but maybe between DAT & Pistonheads we could put a big stand togeather with some nice cars. just an idea that was put to me yesterday.

Well done on winning best stand. I was going to head up at the weekend but got carried away with some other escapades.

What you really needed was a lovely white FTO GPvR

Totally up for getting some of the Piston Heads cars on it next year. Ive had loads of offers and emails already for next year so the game will deffo be stepped up again.

I can make up the banners next year saying what other groups are on the stand, same as i did this year but i get to put PH on it as well.

Definately up for that as 99% of the cars on here are epic.

Looks pretty good. Didn't know it was on or i would have poppped through. Is there an events list for upcoming events or am i just blind.
