Is anyone heading down to Ten Of The Best this week-end? I'm travelling down to York tomorrow morning from Inverness in the Viper.
You will be leaving early then? Be nice to see the restored beast before we head on our camping hoon.

Aaaahh, we are meeting at 11.30ish at the usual place. I will be up and about if you need a coffee before you leave
I am also home for good now (change in career) so I will no doubt catch up with you at some point, if not I will "probably" see you at the dyno day.
And how disappointed am I that "10 of the best" was not referring to the trials & tribulations of one L.M.W.L.

Thank you Al. Brought a smile to my face. Although those days are well and truly over
I am more a sit at home with the puppy kind of girl now, far safer
Meet Shelby my new co-driver. Getting her first taste of riding shotgun in Stang tomorrow when we go camping. Me thinks I am glad I have leather seats

Hi Av,
You might want to think about one of those baby seats for young Shelby, put the baby seat on its back on the seat of your stang and it makes a nice little cradle to hold her in when your going round corners (without brake lights of course). Just a thought, dont want her rolling about and skidding on those leather seats.

Charity shops are your friend, you just need one with good side support. You can also get a dog harness to link into the seat belt. One of my biggest upsets is that I can't get my 2 labs into the vette in any comfort. Especially since its left hand drive, i.e. looks like a dog is driving

After a month of late nights and weekends achieving a mountain of work to ready my mates supra, the car towing it down south for mapping this week shat it's radiator fluid 50 miles from the dyno. Unbelievably gutted. Still going down to watch though and stick my car on the gt4oc stand.
Not my best introduction to competing in TOTB. Rain in the morning kept me off the strip and track then, when I did a few runs, my bonnet flew up at ~120mph, obscuring my view. Scary sh!t. Got 12.3s that run but with 95mph terminal speed - the bonnet flew up about 3/4 down the strip and I jumped on the anchors. Would love to have known what time I'd have got with functional bodywork!!
