Afternoon folks,

Looking for somewhere to take photographs of the car in/around the Aberdeen area. Somewhere that's dramatic/industrial but not an industrial estate would be ideal.

Cheers,
Graeme

Indeed yes

I was there today as it happens [Torry Battery], taking pics of the old star destroyer before I move her on.

Not sure if you can get in the harbour anymore, but there used to be a cracking parking spot just down from the silver darling. looks over the entire harbour. Ditto with any of the old dry docks, usually a lot of metal in there. The south side lighthouse/battery is a good call.

Arches on riverside drive?
Top of the Slug road as you crest the hill on a clear day excellent views of grampian, fairly nice views locally.
Stonehaven promenade.

Despite the volume of industry here there isn't that many places.

Harbour gets my vote.

Adam Russel (on here) did a few pics for me last year with nice results.

Plenty more places but I liked these.

How about the turbines by Insch?

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll take a tour round them and see if anything fits what I'm looking for.

A friend has a picture of his Noble beside these chains, and looks pretty good. If you want can see if I can get the picture since you have a Noble to?
