What is the concensus on the hotel?

Not booked on yet but with some research the cheapest single occupancy I can find is £80.44 on 1800hotel.com or its generally about £101 for 2 people sharing a twin or double.

I am quite willing to share a room to help keep peoples costs down if anyone wants.

How the hell are we going to get there? I don't mind driving down, it's the getting back that troubles me, as i'll not be fit to drive.

Im going to take some holiday time from work so shall be in no rush to get home on the sunday.

I fully intend on driving both directions as this will all be part of the experience.

Multimap says its a 6 and 1/2 hour drive from linlithgow so if you want I could either pick you up from the train station or if you want to drive through and dump your car for the duration there is plenty of parking round about my house? Its also perfectly safe and in a nice bit of town
