Looking for some advice on set of good allround tyres for 996 C4, budget circa £160-180/tyre. Heard some people swear by S02s & S03s & others f1's, but how are toyos & yokohamas?

Is my budget realistic?

Thanks

Better posting this in the porsche section mate. The boys in this section are top class but i dont think there are actually too many 911 enthusiasts. Post in porsche section and youll have all the answers you need in a couple of hours.

I'm running Continental Sport 2s at the moment. Treads are getting low and I'm due a new set. I believe Kwik Fit have a 25% sale on Pirelli. The guys in Dyce come recommended.

I use Toyo T1R's on the Tuscan. I find them very good with the power although they have to be "bedded" in for the 1st few miles. Seems all the TVR owners find this. Have done about 13000 miles on the rear set and they need replaced soon. I use 255 35 18's on the back and 225 35 18's on the front and have no probs with aqua planing etc.
