What do you think is the most common car in your area? On my commute in and out of work (Alford-Aberdeen) I see a ridiculous number of Minis. There might be more Corsas, Fiestas or Focuses but for a more 'desirable' car they're everywhere. And, since my stereo's stopped working on my daily driver, boredom has resulted in me assessing the sex of Mini drivers. Would you believe that there are, on average, 8 females to every 1 male Mini driver? OK, geek mode off...

On my street it's probably MX-5s - generally seem to have a bit better car choice than they did a few years ago! On a street near me there is normally 3 audi TT's in a row, with something random and then another TT!

See a heck of a lot of Porsches, generally either Carreras or Boxters, but quite a few Turbos too.

And 7 fat, orange-tanned, female mini drivers to every 1 slim, non-fake-tanned one?

Tis true.

Audis, A3 & A4 in particular, in S-Line trim but with non-sporty diesel fumes belching from beneath the rear bumper!

You're probably correct in saying clios, maybe I don't notice as they're fairly dull in ubiquitous 1.2 magnifique/diabolique/tres chic trim, but in my experience they tend to be of the barryboy'd variety, rather than driven by attractive young ladies.

I can't tell one boring eurobox from another these days - not for the last 10 years probably. I drive along the N Deeside Rd into Aberdeen every day and there are lots of German saloons of various types and lots of slow hatch-backs. No idea what they are - I don't really care as they don't interest me.
I only notice the nice stuff - the un-usual (and there are enough of them to make the journey interesting).

Our area seems to be BMWs of any make - all without indicators or hands-free phone kits
