Here's a picture from the flooding that took place this morning. Just along the road from where I live. It's the bridge just next to the Bank of Scotland on Victoria Street, Dyce, down from Bond Helicopters, just outside Mckenzies (Used to be the Ske n Dhu hotel).

Are the lights still working on that (I think) Volvo?!

Impressive flooding and impressive electrics if that's the case...

I thought it was a LandRover (discovery type).

Either way, whoever drove through it has never heard of calculated risks before.

I think it's a minibus. Or a passenger liner.

I drove past there this morning, the roads were a total nightmare.

I think it was the Peugeot 806 taxi/minibus equivalent. The other car is a Pug 406.

WOW! the buses that take folk to bridge of don academy couldn't get in because the A90 between Bridge of Don and Balmedie were flooded and some of the school car park was submerged in water...

Pretty horrendous. The bus to Kirkhill Industrial Estate ended up being 30+ min late this morning due to the weather. Had to wade through some puddles as well. Far worse for some others though.

It's taken from Rosemount Viaduct, looking down behind the Denburn carpark.

Mega photos, except for those with their cars swimming. Do people not realise that water over air-intake = car to stop. That's what snorkles are for. Feel sorry for you if you happened to park your car in the street only to find it submerged in the morning. If you drove in to it then your a silly bugger!!

Is that a car roof!?
Was up to Alford last night and the fields between Kemnay and Monymusk ( where the small river is ) had just turned into one massive Loch, here's a picture I managed to get...and that's not the worst part...

Yes, it was quite a rare event in the Aberdeenshire/ Moray area. Very interesting for people in my profession!
