Just been offered a full time job in Aberdeen and so I will be needing some weekday accomodation near the airport. I would like it to be as cheap as possible without it being grotty and unsafe.

Does anyone know which papers, websites or other media that I can look at to try and find something. A room in someones house would be good as oppose to renting a full house (at this stage anyhow).

If anyone has, or knows someone who has a spare room that I can lodge in on a monday to thursday basis then please email me to discuss.

Many thinks to anyone who can help me in any way.

Hi, Good luck with the Job & Dyce is fine.

Try these,

http://www.eveningexpress.co.uk

or have a look about the main street of Dyce, plenty of B&Bs & most will already do Mon - Thurs type arrangements.

A couple of guys at work do the Monday - Thursday thing, I'll ask them if there are any rooms going and locations.

IIRC they are both out of Dyce, but only about 10 or so.

I pass a sign everyday advertising accomodation at Craibstone estate, it's about 2 minutes from the airport and the sign says it has gym, bar etc.

Yes, will be good to be working and earning again. Will be looking for a new car if you fancy a cheap Astra.

hehe Great timing - I'm now out of work. No room for a car at the mo, sadly.
