I have a couple of spare tickets on eBAY for Billy Connolly live at the GLASGOW SECC on Sunday the 4th.
I am having the usual problems with ass holes bidding on tickets then wanting to cancel there bid etc and i am currently trying to get cash out of another looney in Montrose who is leaving it the last minute to come up with the cash.
I can see me getting left with 3 tickets before the gig.

So i was thinking if anyone on PH would like a last minute chance of a ticket to see the big yin on Sunday post your interest and if these bloody idiots on Ebay do not come up with the goods i will let the tickets go at cost price to anyone on PH.

Cheers

Reidy

Definitely up for one. Possibly 2 - but I'll need to give someone a shout tomorrow lunchtime to confirm the second.

ETA - actually, sod it, I'll take 2, definitely. I can find someone to accompany me if my first thought falls through.

Thanks.
2 of the tickets are seated together and like i said they are sold but the looney in Montrose has not came up with the cash yet.
I will give you first offer of the tickets if i get bumped.
I should know for sure on Saturday as after Friday i will have no way of getting the tickets to her for the Sunday.

Hi Guys, thanks for the offers.
I have since been paid by all parties.
I am glad that is over.

Still lots of other tickets on Ebay if you still want to go.

Just back from the gig.
It was a good night but not great.
A few old jokes mixed up with some new stuff that i had already read about in the Scotsman.

Fair assessment, although even though you knew the punchline as soon as the joke started(speaking mostly about the last one) I was still pi$$ing myself at it, it's all about the delivery I guess.

The gig I saw only had a couple of old gags in it. Rest was all new to me.

I guess i was probably looking forward to the gig too much.
I just watched Billy in Alaska on TV and enjoyed every minute of it probably due to him not doing the false laugh etc like he does on stage.
I think he is a great comedian but i like him better when he is talking off the cuff and not working through a routine.
