Good to see motorists sticking together!

Was heading up from Edinburgh to Aberdeen and noticed a HGV driver flashing with his thumbs down, about one mile later, there was a camera van parked up, then a further mile on, some poor sod in an M3 had been pulled by a traffic car.

Cheers!

If HGV drivers see a nice car making progress cop from my experience anyway they will give you a flash to say that a scamera van is coming up. Better than radar detectors at times. thumbup

What always worries me is that by warning other motorists with a little flash/wash/guesture, are you not commiting an offence? I seem to remember being told that sometime ago but I could've been fed absolute mince?

Anyone confirm?

I do it too (don't drive an HGV though!)

Drove past a radar van a few weeks back and there was a group of bikers coming in the opposite direction about a mile down the road - flash and thumbs-down is the standard warning...
