Accountant/book keeper - Aberdeen
Discussion
I know this thing crops up fairly regularly but I can't find anything recent so thought I'd ask again.
Due to a recent redundancy I'm now self employed and need someone to help keep my financials in order. I'm after someone who's good with:
- new and small businesses
- advice on how to run things (finance wise)
- advice on a business bank account
I have 2 things on the go, so need to know do they need seperate accounts, books, etc.
Can anyone recommend someone suitable in Aberdeen who's prices are reasonable?
Thanks,
Tino

if your freelancing to one client and its just you. freelance world are pretty good.
In the process of jumping ship from these boys. Fee's were fine to start with but then went horrendous. The new accountant i'm with now (Graeme Mackay - Queens cross) said that he's been getting loads of people leaving Freelance. In my opinion, i would avoid like the plague.

i started with them but moved as the business grew (took on staff) they only deal with guys on their own. £85/month it was when i was using them. Was 5 years ago mind you.

I joined with them around 18 months ago and the fee's were around £130 a month, including all the insurances. Then 6 months or so ago the laws changed and Freelance were not allowed to move your bills out every month into a holding account, therefore losing the interest they made on your money. The fee's then rocketed to around £300 a month i think, possibly even more.
