Teevo Says Hi!
Discussion
Well. I thought it was about time I took some shots of the Teevo and gave you lot a wee update.
Since i bought the car back in late August I have spent over £2300 getting stuff sorted out. When I picked the car up i knew it had a few niggles so i dropped it off at Kenny Brown's for a full diagnosis.
The following was done there:
Fix exhaust rubbers & realign
Replace anti rollbar bushes
Replace N/S Drop arm
Replace N/S Track Rod End
Replace N/S Bottom Ball Joint
Replace Steering Gaiters
Strip off Aux Belt & Repair Water Pump Pulley
Replace Aux Tensioner
Fit new belt
Fit new Iridium plugs
Engine Oil
Gearbox Oil
Transfer Box Oil
Diff Oil
Reset Tracking
While it was in and all 4 wheels were off I took the wheels away and replaced all four tyres with new Hankook V12 Evo, 225/45/17. The day after it was off to KH
After kicking the pants off it for 2 hours I came to a few conclusions. A - I needed more stuff replaced, B - This is going to be an expensive car
So i returned to Kenny Browns and had the O/S/F Hub bearing replaced along with all the discs, pads and fluid. The brakes were sorted out with some CRN grooved and drilled discs and new Yellow Stuff Formula pads and the fluid was replaced with Motul RBF600 and what a difference it all made. After this I got sick of looking at my wheels looking Ugandan so me and Monsieur Dangerous set about them one Friday night and after a couple of hours, they were bronze! A few days later I thought I had a donkey in the boot so did some reasearch and that means the AYC fluid needs changed. So i jumped to Mitsi and had then change the bath fluid and the pump and bleed it and now the donkey has gone
So some time passed, my job turned gay, and I travelled up north for my sisters wedding. Literally 20 mins from arriving I hear a knocking noise from the front left. Once I arrived I inspected it and found it to be the front left top mount bearing. Good excuse for some new suspension...
On arriving back in the big smoke I had a new set of BC Racing Type RM series coilovers. A few days later I set about fitting them and setting appropriate ride heights and then took it down to Kenny Brown's after a good 200 mile break in drive. Kenny worked his usual magic and set it up for track, adjusting all the geometry and heights as required. Now its just OMFG!
After that I have made a few wee touches on the exterior to keep me ticking over. I painted the Nacca Duct and Oil Cooler Vent Satin black. A couple of days later I painted the center section of the front bumper satin black as well.
So thats where I am now but I still have a lot of plans. Hopefully, just maybe, this time I can resist the urge to sell I usually get 4 months down the line and complete them.
I'll let a few quick snaps I took after washing the car tonight do the talking.

Cheers

just out of curiosity, why did you opt for brake cooling other than brake performance when deciding which way to mount the brake discs? lots of my customers never tell me why they go fot this option
gorgeous car though, always wanted one
