Hi guys

Per the two threads ditch tracot and winter run, anyone up for a mini run this Sunday? Would be an early start say 8am or 9am at latest and lunch time finish?
any ideas of a route? Bacon buttie stop ( x 3 )
Weather forecast for sat night is very wet and dry sunday, but it is a forecast from the BBC!
Could re trace either part of the Moffat run to selkirk and peebles?
Or part of the run last week? Up loch lomond side to Inverrary using back roads and coffee there?
Or????

I think south is the better option if we are only doing a mini run. If we head up the A82 then then it will add quite a long time until we get to any decent roads. Having said that, the Glen Fruin road is worth an extra drive to get to....

I might be knackered after my jaunt to Orkney, but...

What time in Moffat?

Us orientals have an interesting alternative to the Motorway... smile

I hail from Aberdeen in the farthest east! smile

...and I'll still be in full on fluffnik-san mode since the ALPINA is in the paintshop.

Hi guys
Tentative plan:

If it is nice good weather ie not hammering down with rain:

Meet at 9am in lanarkshire which I think is still BST??

Use the march route! approx!

Please private me for deatils

psantoni@btinternet.com

Plans are for at least one coffee and cake/bacon buttie stop! Followed by scenic stops followed by late morning cake/bacon buttie or lunch stop!
Perhaps some driving inbetween! Hope this is enough food orientated to please Alastair and anyone else from Edinburgh!

Exactly, you should never take the motorway when the Mofat road is their... That's a Mini run on it's own
