About 1830 last night on the off the A96 on the Chapel of Garioch road, all power started to die, idle was lump as hell but wont go. Pulled in at the side of the road hazards on, got to a passing place. Figured I had popped a boost hose somewhere, I had no light/ tools nothing to see/feel about, pitch black and raining. Called a few mates all on the way home none answering/ torches/ tools so opted to use my RAC cover and wait 90 minutes for someone to arrive.

No fewer than 14 people stopped and asked if i needed any help, use of a phone, warm air form their car and one kind lady offered of a cup of tea and take me back down the road again in an hour... my faith in humanity is restored, I generally stop if some is in car trouble, so few people do these days. Was really humbled, if anyone here is reading, thanks its appreciated!
