There seemed to be a lot of people with cameras at the Run.

The weather was crap but the cars were superb! Kudos to every driver that took their car out.

My highlights!

I took some photos and video at the junction at Balmoral, there was only one car pulled away from the junction and hung out the tail (you know who you are) but I was changing the camera battery at the time so sadly no action shot. I must say my video is crap but the sound of the cars in it are ace, I will try and edit something and post it up.

Gary said £2500 was raised from the auctions and the Ferrari Club kindly donated £500.

It was an absolutely superb day out, the weather was gash but everyone made the most of it. Hats off to every single driver who took their car out in that, especially my taxi driver for the day.

Hiya Al, thanks for a great run in the Lambo, indeed a pity about the weather. Took me two and a half hours to get home, couldn't go above 45 mph due to standing water, I rekon they should have closed the road as it was that bad! Thanks again ,

Haha. Looks can be deceiving!

The owner of the black one is genuinely young.

It was the CLub Scuderia website that donated the £500 - thanks to Renmure.

It was indeed a hugely generous donation from the Club Scuderia members and I know the ogranisers of the Clannonball Run were very appreciative of the gesture.

It is fantastic that owners of these type of cars have the opportunity to be able to raise thousand of pounds for charity just by allowing others to have a ride in them. When you add into the mix the fact that a bunch of folk on a web forum out there in cyberspace can donate a significant sum it almost becomes fantastically sureal.

I had to abandon my car on the way back home from the run when it became clear that the windscreen wipers were struggling to cope with the standing water coming over the bonnet!! eek
Went to find it again this morning and it seems none the worse for its underwater exploits, although perhaps next year one of them James Bond Lotus Esprits might be a better choice smile

Loved the cars smile
But only stayed there for an hour as I only had a jumper on and got drenched.
