All,

Just had an email and it reads as belows:

"We have had a tip off from grampians finest that aberdeen is going to be blitzed this weekend by car thieves.
Please forward this on to people you know and be extra vigilant over the weekend, however we have been told that it is car dealerships they are gunning for!!!

'if' I was a car thief I guess last weeks Clannonball would have been like 'gone in 60 seconds' all over again but easier........

This is a key concern of 'finest spotted' too.

Rant over and thanks for the tip.

Scotland's finest hardly shows where the owner lives, does it?

Cheers Al, keep those keys in a bank vault!

If anyone knows who these 'thieves' are, please pass on my details.

I have a couple of cars which they're welcome to.

Cheers,

I WAS mearly pointing out one post (out of over 200 pages) giving a hint to a cars location. But Balmedie is not a small place so no danger. laugh

Anyway... who are these wussies who garage their cars! rofl

I was told that the Mitsubishi garage off Haudagain lost an Evo IV through the glass window but that was that was a week (or even two?) before this thread. Think the car was later found dumped so doesn't sound professional...

It was certainly all boarded up when I drove past a few days later.

Don't quote me on accuracy - just something I was told. May be total rubbish.

I believe it was an EVO X and it was found (not very soon after) on the A90, this side of Stoney.

But, yes, some time before this thread was posted.

I have heard a rumour that a DB9 has been stolen. But I can't substantiate that.
