anyone in OG recruitment? CV critique required
Discussion
have posted in jobs & employment but as a lot of people here work in oil & gas i thought it was worth cross posting.
i am looking for a career move into the OG industry. looking for comments on my CV as well as ideas for which job areas to target given my experience to date. i have a word or pdf file available to view - its a first draft so it needs whipping into shape.
regards,
shirt.

its 95% the finished article and have had some good feedback already. its more that i need advice on what flies in OG recruitment and what i should omit.scotty_d said:
What’s your employment back ground to date and what skills can you transfer to O&G sector?
6yrs primary steel making - roughly an equal split between designing machinery and ops. management. i'm hoping most of my background is transferable, but most jobs seem to require 3yrs+ specialist experience that imo can only be obtained in the role.
i view a CV as a tool to reach interview, but i need to make it so that i avoid an easy paper cull.
