Where to go in Aberdeen tonight!??

Hi, I'm travelling up to Aberdeen this evening to go offshore, potentially over Christmas!!!! Yeah, I'm pi55ed!!! Can anyone recommend a good place for a few beers tonight in Aberdeen city centre? A bit of Christmas spirit would be good before I go away!

I usually get dragged to Bugsy Brown's, but would rather avoid it tonight! I would quite like to find a decent pub that I could have some decent company, rather than some dumb peroxide dancer try to entice a tenner from my pocket!! Lol.

What's the big old Church called on Union Street, that's now a pub? That's usually quite good if I remember correctly??

That church will be Soul Bar, decent enough but could well be absolutely packed....

yup thats soul, used to work there, you should get good chat from all the bar staff and there are always lots of other offshore folk in there too.

Some female company would be nice as well!! Lol. I reckon most places might well be busy with Xmas nights out.

We sometimes go to a boozer on Belmont Street. The one with the balcony out the back, it's usually not too bad.

I guess anywhere will be busy in reality!!! Lol. Although, I can see some of the guys wanting to end up in Bugsy's!!!! Not for me tonight!!! Lol.

Really? Last time I was in there it was looking a bit tatty and the clientèle was more heavily weighted to the chav end of the spectrum than was ideally comfortable. Was the watering hole of choice a few years ago.

Can't really go wrong with Soul, plus Tonik and Paramount are just over the road from the back door.
