Update from down south, more snow has fallen this morning. Lets hope it melts by 3pm tomorrow! Anyone able to update me on the Aberdeen weather?
See this threadhttp://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
Right, quick update, thanks for all the info guys, bit of a nightmare getting home though. Started off good; flight wasn't delayed surprisingly. Everything going swimmingly, until we're 10 minutes away from landing. They shut the airport as they're clearing the runway of snow. The captain decided to circle for a while as "we have enough fuel to". 15 minutes later though, we don't. So, we landed at Inverness. And instead of refuelling and waiting until Aberdeen airport was open, which would have been far quicker, we get bundled onto a coach. And due to more snowstorms, and fog, and the general state of the roads, it took 4 hours, which means I am very tired and should be pretty angry, however I met a pretty young fellow student, and she was going my way. So thanks FlyBe!
Also, from the state of the roads, I can only deduce that the coach driver has superhuman powers. Absolutely 0 visibility. Massive snowstorm (or so it appeared from the front of the coach!), grumpy old people, roads which look like they belong on another planet, and he got us home. So if you're a PHer or just happen to be reading this, thankyou!

Should be alright today, no fresh snow but its flipping cold. -18 at ours last night.
Not sure if they still have the gritting issues at Huntly or not but your at the mercy of one person binning it and nobody else can travel. Take it easy and you should get up there fine.
