Looking to rent small workshop unit/space in central belt area, if anyone has such a small unit available(will consider any size from 500-2000sq feet) or someone looking to down size and share unit space,please shoot me a PM.

If i hear of anything i will give you a shout,,bo'ness/linlithgow area may be good value for yourself i would think for you although maybe too far west.

Its more in the Falkirk/Stirling area i require!

Really wish we'd got the premises we were after initially. I'd have owned it instead of renting, would be paying half the amount per month i am just now and would have plenty room to rent out to like-minded folks as yourselves.

Might have something for you in springkerse, will ask for you tomorrow.

Try also stirling councils website for units all over area and "broadleys ind area" there are a few units in and around there that are vacant, all around the 1100 sq ft. Also good area as just about everybody knows where all the car garages in stirling are. (broadlees is the area wher the vw and audi garages are, in behind the bmw garage).

Prior to the recession I was mostly chasing units about £6 ft2 per year for industrial space and 10 - 11 for office.

Seen units in Broadly i think,,they are approx 6.50 sq ft although if the rateable value is above 8k(which i am unsure) you will have rates on top of that.

Not sure about Stirling Council but i know Lanarkshire, North and South were very un-keen to let out units for automotive purposes.

Scunnered me on a couple of good places that did.

I found a good premises in Stirling for my company SP Autobahn and have been set up there since early last year.

Well I am now looking for a small workshop area to store and work on my race car, and possibly other thing too. NO luck with the council websites (Falkirk, stirling and clackmannan). So if anyone knows of somewhere that is available please let me know.

It would be a little over my inteed distance of travel but would depend on the size of the premesis and the price. Maybe a mechanic next door would be a good thing though as it would mainly be for personal use, only business i I start one I am considering in about 4 months time, and thats wouldn't be as a mechanic anyway.
