Help Please - law firm placement

Hi,
A long shot but wondering if anybody can help.
My Misses is currently undertaking a law degree, she is in her first year as a mature student (31). Does anybody here have any contacts with any firms looking to take placements during the mid term periods. Obv she is applying herself but it never does any harm to ask these days.
We live close to Stirling so almost anywhere in the Central Belt or perth would be okay.
Ps to the Godfather, she will make a great lawyer - she hates micras
