you know anything could have happened, they could have pulled a double shift. stayed on to help someone past their finish time etc. to me the police have an impossible job. they may never ever slip up or do 31mph in a 30 etc.. i really hope nothing happens to the officers invoolved its a thankless task dealing with the scum of society when all they get from them is abuse.

Sorprised they used the stopwatch -wouldn't the LTI have been better?

As for the sleeping policemen -sort of thing that goeson in every job at night ( if you can get away with ) when you're on standbye. Even seen it happen locally, but they had the good sense to find a field just outside town
