Starter motor refurbishment near Edinburgh

Just curious if anybody knows where I can get a starter motor refurbished near Edinburgh? It's a mk2 golf starter motor. Exchange is fine, just looking to save on postage.

As a small garage owner you will not get a reasonable price for an overhaul on a small motor .only hgv benefits from this.the best way is phone various outlets that we use-Pentland Components,Dingbro and Euro car parts and you will find a good price for a motor. hope this helps.

There a guy next door to Eurocarparts in Edinburgh (Airport Cargo Road) just off Glasgow Road. Im sure he re-cons starters & alternators
