Left my car in Beancross car park last weekend and came back to find that some total f****r had reversed into it a total beauty and holed the bumper and dented it big time. Not a wee glancing blow, but a big crunch that would have been felt and heard easily. No note left or anything.

I am totally brimming with rage!!!!!

Is there CCTV there? That would be your best help.

Happened to me at Ikea outside Edinburgh. Some panelled in the back door of the Merc with some timber or other heavy goods in a trolley. Cost me £700 to fix. I asked about CCTV, but security said they didnt record the car park - probably so they can avoid getting involved in situations like mine...

Have you tried the local cop shop,just on the off-chance that whoever done this has a conscience and has reported it to them?

Had the same thing done to my old Jag in a shopping centre car park i know what car did it a big 4x4 with its wheels at a angle when it reversed back it hit my back door i did not get a reg number or any cctv just know it was a shogun or the likes was fumming the must have felt it as the whole back door was caved right it and needed a new skin Hope they get caught out

We're talking about Falkirk here so wouldn't hold out too much hope of that...


That's ste Bob, some folk have no respect. Happened to my wife's car in Buchanan Galleries carpark: scraped along the rear 3/4 and bumper, not just paintwork but actually dented the panel too - not excatly something you'd not realise you'd done.

It would be great to catch the bam doing it and then it was legal to give them 50 lashes with a jaggy stick. I hate even parking my car in any of the car parks in Falkirk. I always try to use my wee van.
